On Friday, October 31st, I attended the last day at the farmers market.  The day was chilly with a slight wind that made it seem colder!  The market was largely simply to say good bye to folk and to arrange the last consignment of produce from several of the venders.  I had picked up a load of produce from Devries on Thursday (335 pounds) and on Friday we took another 184 pounds to the food bank for a total of 519 pounds.  Thanks to Jane, Lowell and John for assistance during the day!  Having said that some regular donors made contributions and we spoke to several venders and visitors.
